General Conference Questions

Change Management 2019 is the premier Conference for the change management discipline, and it is the largest international gathering among novice and seasoned practitioners. This annual three-day event is produced by the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), and it is must-attend Conference for any change management practitioners or professionals wanting to learn the latest trends and information in today’s workplace and understand how strategically adapting change in a fluctuating business environment can create positive solutions.

When and where is the Conference?
Change Management 2019 is will be held in Orlando, Fla., USA April 28 to May 1, 2019 at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort within the Lowes Meeting Complex. All Conference proceedings will take place within this property. Please note Pre-Conference Workshops will be offered Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. before the official start of the conference. Additionally, there will also be Post-Conference Workshops from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1.

What do I need to bring with me to the Conference?
Just yourself with a great attitude, and be ready to learn, network and have fun! You will receive your name badge and information packet when you check in on site. Upon arrival, we encourage all attendees to download the official Change Management 2019 App, so you can familiarize yourself with the program, schedule your agenda, see who else is attending, locate the exhibitors and start making new connections!
What should I wear?
Business casual attire is perfectly appropriate throughout the Conference.
Can I get PMI PDU credit for attending the Conference?
Yes, please follow the PMI rules for submitting relevant PDU's for Category B: Continuing Education. Under Category B, PDU credits can be earned by attending relevant educational courses, conferences, seminars, or symposiums by training organizations not registered with PMI. This can include a training offered by an employer, a professional association, or a non-R.E.P. training organization. Can I get CCMP PDU credit for attending the Conference?
Yes, Conference attendance can be used toward the ongoing maintenance of the CCMP designation. Attending Change Management 2019 along with Pre-and Post-Conference Workshops will offer PDU credit. Please Refer to the Candidate Handbook for complete details.

Agenda Questions

Where can I find the schedule for the Conference?
An overview of Change Management 2019’s lineup can be found on the Program at a Glance page, and the complete schedule of events will be available on the Full Program page. The Conference begins on Sunday, April 28 during the Opening Reception. The opening keynote speaker will present on Monday, April 29 at 8:30 a.m., and the closing keynote speaker wraps up Change Management 2019 at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1. However, Pre-Conference Workshops are available on Sunday afternoon prior to the Reception and Post-Conference Workshops begin immediately following the closing keynote speaker.
When does the Conference begin?
The official Conference kick off begins at the Welcome Reception on Sunday, April 28 at 6 p.m.; however, Pre-Conference Workshops begin that afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. for attendees wanting to jumpstart his or her Change Management 2019 experience. In addition, first-time Conference goers are encouraged to attend the New Attendee Orientation from 5 to 6 p.m.
What time does the Conference end on Wednesday?
The Conference ends at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday in order to allow for outbound travel that afternoon. However, there will be optional Post-Conference Workshops on Wednesday, May 1 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Registration and Payment Questions

What is the cost to attend the Conference?
The cost varies depending on several factors: member and nonmember pricing, individual and group registration along with other variables. There are discounts for members, early registration and groups also academic and government discounts available. Please email help@acmpglobal.org for details. What is included in the cost of attendance?
Your registration fee includes attendance to all the general sessions, breakouts and the following: Sunday’s Opening Reception; Monday’s breakfast, morning break, lunch and afternoon break; Tuesday’s breakfast, morning Break, lunch and afternoon break; and Wednesday’s breakfast and morning break. It also includes exclusive access to the Conference App.
How do I take advantage of the member rate?
By becoming an ACMP member prior to Change Management 2019, you can immediately gain exclusive access to the member-only rate and take advantage of the professional offerings and additional Conference discounts throughout the year.
Can I register for the Conference over the phone?

Can I use a form of payment other than a credit card?
Credit cards are the primary form of payment for the Conference, but there is also an option to pay via check or wire transfer during the registration process. Please complete the payment quickly, so your registration remains active.
When should I register?
The earlier you register, the more you can save on registration rates and guarantee your spot at Change Management 2019. There are many benefits for registering early, so please take advantage of these offers.
Can I get a discount for bringing my colleagues?

What is your cancellation and transfer policy?
All cancellation and transfer requests must be received in writing to ACMP. Please send written notice of cancellation by email to: help@acmpglobal.org. The cancellation fee structure is as follows:

Can my family come with me?
Friends and family are welcome to join you in one of the world’s top travel destinations, Orlando, Fla. However, guests and children are unable to participate in Conference events; yet, there are countless activities within the hotel throughout Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay for guests of all ages.
What types of onsite activities are available?
