General Conference Questions

Change Management 2018 is the premier conference for change management professionals, and it is the largest gathering among novice and seasoned practitioners. This annual event is produced by the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP). This three-day event is the must-attend conference for change practitioners or anyone who works in a fluctuating environment and influencing change.

When and where is the conference?
Change Management 2018 is at the Caesar’s Palace, Las, Vegas, USA. All conference proceedings will take place within this property. The conference dates are March 25-28, 2018. Please note Pre-Conference Workshops will be offered Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. before the official start of the conference. Additionally, there will also be Post-Conference Workshops from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28.

What do I need to bring with me to the Conference?
Just yourself with a great attitude, and be ready to learn, network and have fun! You will receive your name badge and information packet when you check in on site. Upon arrival, we encourage all attendees to download the official Change Management 2018 app, so you can familiarize yourself with the program, schedule your agenda, see who else is attending and start making new connections!
What should I wear?
Business casual attire is perfectly appropriate throughout the Conference.
Can I get PMI PDU credit for attending the conference?
Yes, please follow the PMI rules for submitting relevant PDU's for Category B: Continuing Education. Under Category B, PDU credits can be earned by attending relevant educational courses, conferences, seminars, or symposiums by training organizations not registered with PMI. This can include a training offered by an employer, a professional association, or a non-R.E.P. training organization. Can I get CCMP PDU credit for attending the conference?
Yes, Conference attendance can be used toward the ongoing maintenance of the CCMP designation. Change Management 2018 offers up to 17 PDUs. Attending either of the Pre-and Post-Conference Workshops will offer additional PDUs. Please refer to the Candidate Handbook for complete details.

Agenda Questions

Where can I find the schedule for the conference?
The schedule of events is available on the Full Program page. The conference begins on Sunday, March 25 during the Opening Reception. The opening keynote speaker will present on Monday, March 26 at 8:30 a.m., and the closing keynote speaker wraps up Change Management 2018 at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday March 28. However, Pre-Conference Workshops are available on Sunday afternoon prior to the Reception and Post-Conference Workshops begin immediately following the closing keynote speaker.
When does the conference begin?
The official Conference kick off begins at the Welcome Reception on Sunday, March 25 at 6 p.m.; however, Pre-Conference Workshops begin that afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. for attendees wanting to jumpstart his or her Change Management 2018 experience. In addition, first-time Conference goers are encouraged to attend the New Attendee Orientation from 5 to 6 p.m.
What time does the conference end on Wednesday?
The Conference ends at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday in order to allow for outbound travel that afternoon. However, there will be optional Post-Conference Workshops on Wednesday, March 28 from 2 to 5 p.m.
What topics will be covered at this Conference?
There are seven topic tracks: Masterclass Sessions,* Professional Practices, Foundations, Enterprise Capabilities and Leadership, Tools of the Trade, Integrated Disciplines and Partnerships and Trends and Innovation.

*Masterclass Sessions are only available to attendees with at least 11 years of professional change management experience

Registration and Payment Questions

What is the cost to attend the Conference?
The cost varies depending on several factors: member and nonmember pricing, individual and group registration along with other variables. There are discounts for members, early registration and groups also academic and government discounts available. Please email for details. What is included in the cost of attendance?
Your registration fee includes attendance to all the general sessions, breakouts and the following: Sunday’s Opening Reception; Monday’s breakfast, morning break, lunch and afternoon break; Tuesday’s breakfast, morning Break, lunch and afternoon break; and Wednesday’s breakfast and morning break. It also includes exclusive access to the Conference App and post-Conference teachings.
How do I take advantage of the member rate?
By becoming an ACMP member prior to Change Management 2018, you can immediately gain exclusive access to the member-only rate, and take advantage of the professional offerings and additional Conference discounts throughout the year.

Can I use a form of payment other than a credit card?
Credit cards are the primary form of payment for the Conference, but there is also an option to pay via check or wire transfer during the registration process. Just be sure to complete the payment quickly so your registration remains active.
When should I register?
Space is limited. To ensure your seat at the Conference, it is important to register early. As an additional incentive, there are discounts for registering early, so please take advantage of these offers!
Can I get a discount for bringing my colleagues?
Yes, you can register a group for a large savings! If you have four or more attendees from your company then, your group can take advantage of discounted pricing. For full pricing information please click HERE.
What is your cancellation and transfer policy?
All cancellation and transfer requests must be received in writing to ACMP. Conference fees are transferable to another participant from the same organization ONE TIME only. Guests and Location Questions

Can my family come with me?
Friends and family are welcome to join you in Las Vegas; in addition, can take advantage of the discounted group rate in a separate room. However, guests and children are unable to participate in Conference events; yet, there are countless activities within the hotel and Las Vegas area for guests of all ages.
What types of onsite activities are available
At Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino there is a grand assortment of restaurants and shopping within the hotel. From dozens of restaurants, pools, spa, fitness center and more.
Is internet access available?
Complimentary internet access will be available to attendees within the Conference area, and additional wifi information will be provided at the onsite registration desk during Change Management 2018.

ACMP and Miscellaneous Questions

Why should I join ACMP and CCMP?
There are many reasons to join ACMP, including discounted Conference registration. A complete list of member benefits can be found on the Membership page.

ACMP is pleased to announce Change Management 2018 attendance can be used toward ongoing CCMP maintenance and designation. By attending Conference, you will receive 17 Professional Development Units (PDUs), but can earn up to 30 PDUs by participating in various events.
  • PDUs can only be credited once you have been awarded the CCMP credential.
  • Attending pre-conference and post-conference workshops offers additional PDUs.
  • PDUs can be tracked using the form on our information page.
  • PDUs are subject to audit - keep your receipts and track actual hours spent in session.
  • If you can’t attend in person, PDUs can be credited for watching the videos.
  • Volunteer work for ACMP also provides PDUs.
  • Refer to the Candidate Handbook for complete details.
As a reminder, those with the CCMP credential require 60 PDUs to maintain status every three (3) years.
