General Conference Questions

For the first time ACMP will host three Regional Conferences in 2017, and Change Management – Regional Europe kicks off the history-making events.

When and where is the conference?
Change Management – Regional Europe 2017 will be held at Hilton Amsterdam, and all conference proceedings will take place within the property. The conference dates are 16 and 17 November, and officially begins on Thursday afternoon at 13:00. Please note pre-conference Workshops will be offered Thursday morning before the official start.
Who can I contact if I have questions about the conference?

What do I need to bring with me to the conference?
A great attitude, eagerness to learn, network and have fun! You will receive your name badge and information packet when you check in on site. However, we encourage you to download the official conference app before you arrive, so you can familiarize yourself with the program, set your own agenda, see who else is attending and start making new connections!
What should I wear?
Business casual attire is perfectly appropriate throughout the conference.
Can I get CCMP PDU credit for attending the conference?
Yes, conference attendance can be used toward ongoing maintenance of CCMP designation. Number of PDUs will be determined once the program is confirmed, and attending a pre-conference workshop offers additional PDUs. Refer to the Candidate Handbook for complete details.
Can I get PMI PDU credit for attending the conference?
Yes, please follow the PMI rules for submitting relevant PDU's for Category B: Continuing Education. Under Category B, PDU credits can be earned by attending relevant educational courses, conferences, seminars or symposiums by training organizations not registered with PMI. This can include a training offered by an employer, a professional association, or a non-R.E.P. training organization. For a non-R.E.P. or community course, the registration form, certificate or letter of attendance, and a brochure or syllabus outlining the subject matter.
Can I get other CEU or PDU credits?
Yes, the learning sessions should qualify, but it will be dependent upon each organization’s rules and regulations.

What day and time does the conference officially begin?
The conference kicks off its General Session at 13:00 on Thursday 16 November.
What time does the conference end on Friday?
Conference will end Friday afternoon on 17 November.
When will onsite registration and check-in be available?
You check in and collect your name badge on Thursday from 8:00 – 18:00 or on Friday from 8:00 – 12:00.
What topics will be covered at the Change Management – Regional Europe 2017?

Registration and Payment Questions

What is the cost of attendance?
The cost of attending varies depending on several factors, including whether you are a member or non-member. It is more cost effective to attend as an ACMP member. To view a listing of all registration options please visit our Registration page. There are discounts for members, early registration and groups. There are also academic and government discounts available. Please email help@acmpglobal.org for details.
What is included in the cost of attendance?
Your registration fee includes: Half-day conference on Thursday afternoon, Reception on Thursday evening, Full day conference Friday including refreshment break and lunch, General session with Keynote Speaker, Breakout Sessions.
How do I take advantage of the member rate?
For residents living in North America membership is $174 USD and $119 for those outside North America. Join ACMP and take advantage of all the benefits of membership, including discounted registration fees for an entire year. Can I register for the conference over the phone?
No, registrations are preferred online to expedite processing and ensure completeness of the form; please click here to begin. If you have further questions please email help@acmpglobal.org.
Can I use a form of payment other than a credit card?
Credit cards are the primary form of payment for conference, but there is also an option to pay via check or wire transfer during the registration process; however, you must complete the payment quickly so the registration page remains active.
When should I register?
Space is limited. To ensure your seat at the conference, it is important to register early. As an additional incentive, there are discounts for registering early, so please take advantage of these offers!
What is your cancellation and transfer policy?
All cancellation and transfer requests must be received in writing to ACMP. Conference fees are transferable to another participant from the same organization ONE TIME only. Transfers will not be permitted after August 13. Please send written notice of cancellation by email to: help@acmpglobal.org. The cancellation fee structure is as follows:

Where is the hotel located?

Which airport do I fly in to?
The closest airport is Amsterdam International Airport.
How do I book a hotel room?
ACMP has negotiated a special rate at the Hilton Amsterdam. To book your hotel, visit the Venue page.
What is the cost of the hotel room?

Do I need a passport or Visa to attend?
The U.S. Department of State and Homeland Security require all citizens from the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda must obtain a passport or another accepted secure document to enter or re-enter the U.S. For more information, visit the U.S. Department of State website. Guests and Location Questions

Can my family come with me?
ACMP encourages you to travel with your family to make the most of your time in Amsterdam. Friends and family can stay with you or take advantage of the discounted group. Guests and children are unable to participate in the professional conference; however, there are many of activities in the area that your guests can participate in.
Will I have internet access?
Yes, all meetings space will have complimentary internet access.

How can I speak at the conference?
The Call for Speakers has closed. Applicants will be selected and notified soon. Please note, for those who already submitted a request, and selected the option to speak at Regional Conference and/or Annual Conference, your application was automatically considered.
