These educational sessions are designed for smaller audiences, giving participants opportunities for deeper discussions with workshop leaders and fellow attendees. From coaching skills to change intelligence, each topic is focused on the latest industry topics and trends catered for seasoned practitioners and those new to the profession.

Session Outline:
ow can you develop yourself to become the best change consultant or leader you can be? Some people think the answer is more tools, techniques or models. This work is for those who realize the foundation of change leadership and consulting greatness is in one's way of Being, in how you perceive the world. Most change sponsors, project managers and change management professionals are overwhelmed by the complexities of organization transformation - too many moving parts, competing agendas, and unseen inter­ dependencies and cause and effect dynamics. This session cracks the code. We will explore "Four Sights," or ways of perceiving complexity that generate insight and solutions to solve the most complex challenges of organization transformation. Developing Coaching Skills for Successful Change

Rich has been successfully delivering change for over 25 years. His consulting practice has seen him work with organizations across all parts of the globe! His legacy includes developing the change delivery model for UK government and being a founding member of the ACMP. He hasa masters in change management and is a certified Lego® Serious Play® Facilitator & Workshop Designer. He is also certified in Project Management, Process improvement, HR, Coaching, Counseling and Psychotherapy.

Session Outline:
This workshop will discuss the role of coaching in supporting others through change, build attendees capability to coach others through change and practice using the Capillary coaching for change model. Attendees will focus on building their personal coaching toolkit, understanding how to build agreements that work for both themselves and the individuals they coach and also have a short overview of group coaching approaches. Attendees will undertake several practice coaching sessions with other attendees and should be prepared to participate in a number of coaching discussion throughout the workshop. A workbook and relevant resources will be provided for all attendees.

The Proper Care of Leaders So They Help You Implement Change

As founder of Enclaria, Heather Stagl equips individuals and teams to influence change at work through individual coaching, team workshops, and training programs. Heather is a blogger and radio host of the popular "Influence Change at Work" show on BlogTalkRadio. She is the author of 99 Ways to Influence Change and the Influence Change at Work™ Toolkit.

Session Outline:
Without the sufficient support of leaders, change fizzles out. The trouble is, leaders often don't properly support change even when they agree that it should happen. In this workshop, you will learn how to work with leaders so you can get the support you need to successfully implement change, without having authority yourself.

Change Management Maturity: Measuring and Raising Your Organizational Capability

Tim Creasey is a dynamic presenter, author, researcher and thought-leader on managing the people side of initiatives to deliver results and outcomes. His work forms the foundation of the largest body of knowledge in the world on change management. His work at Prosci has advanced the discipline of by moving it out of the “soft and fuzzy” realm toward a structured, rigorous approach for driving benefit realization and value creation on projects.

Session Outline:
Organizational change management capability is an enabler of agility, mitigater of saturation, provider of competitive advantage and facilitator of strategic progress. But growing this capability is not for the faint of heart. It takes more than chatter and want to; it takes structure and intent. This interactive workshop provides concrete tools, tactics and approaches for increasing organizational maturity. First, attendees with complete an audit of their current maturity and learn how to leverage the audit as a baseline and as a guide to focus efforts and as a progress tracking tool. Second, attendees will explore six universal themes that have emerged from innovators and early adopters who are increasing their maturity and then apply each of those themes to their unique situation. Attendees receive a six-month subscription to the Prosci Change Management Maturity Model Audit.

1. Learn how to add clarity and alignment to the conversation around organizational capability.

Post-Conference Workshops

The learning continues after Change Management 2018. Post-Conference Workshops offer an opportunity to slow down and dig deeper into relevant topics, taking the practical information learned during Conference and tailoring it to suit attendees’ goals or needs. Enhance Your Ability to Lead Change and Drive Results through Developing Your Change Intelligence (CQ)

Instructor Biography:
Barbara Trautlein, PhD, author of Change Intelligence and originator of the CQ System for Developing Change Intelligence, partners with clients such as Abbott, Cisco, Ford, Northwestern University and University Hospitals to lead enterprise-wide transformation, train/coach leaders at all levels, and certify change agents. She helped start-up the ACMP-Midwest Chapter and was honored as its Change Management Consultant of the Year in 2015. She holds a doctorate in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Session Outline:
Methods to "manage change" are baseline competencies. Truly effective change agents LEAD change - this workshop's focus. Participants will enhance their own ability to lead successful and sustainable change, including "Change Intelligent" strategies to reframe resistance from enemy to ally, influence key stakeholders, engage sponsors, and facilitate collaborative change teams. The workshop is replete with interactive hands-on exercises, real-world case studies, and personalized assignments enabling immediate application to each participant's unique change challenges. Additionally, participants will experience the Change Intelligence/CQ Assessment themselves, and through exploring research results from the assessment's global database, they will obtain insights into opportunities and dynamics in leading change around the world. By building Change Intelligence, change leaders are able to overcome what looks like resistance, but is really either confusion over the goal, lack of connection to the goal, or lack of tactics and training to partner together to work toward the goal.

Michelle Yanahan, Principal of ChangeFit 360, is a passionate organizational change management thought leader with 16 +years progressive business experience in leadership roles in operations, change capability and competency development, change execution, IT execution, project management office (PMO) development and operations. Michelle holds a Masters in Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University as well as CCMP and Prosci ADKAR change management certifications. Instructor Biographies:
Miroslav is a senior consultant and a Prosci® Certified Advanced Instructor with Cocentric Solutions, one of the top global Prosci Authorized training providers since 2010. Miroslav has over 30 years as a Consultant with a background in business analysis, requirements elicitation and management, systems analysis and modeling. He has experience with guiding change in software development and teams adopting new technical solutions, processes and practices. Miroslav has worked with all types of leaders in many industries and has had to influence change to achieve results. Most recently, Miroslav supported an early stage start up, bbtox providing business analysis and project management functions. Miroslav graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Psychology. Miroslav is passionate about process, leadership and innovation leading to change. He enjoys doing leadership workshops and participants enjoy is quirky humor.

Jennifer Stante is a senior Change Management Consultant and Partner for consulting services with Cocentric. She has over twenty years of experience in Organizational Change, specifically in the area of learning and development for large scale ERP implementations and upgrades. While in senior leadership roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM Business Consulting Services Jennifer gained international experience managing global projects in the US and Europe with training budgets up to $52M and end users ranging from 100 to over 150,000 employees at one time. Jennifer has helped several local, global companies and government agencies to transform their systems and business processes by strategically enabling staff to adopt and embrace their new ways of working. Through her consulting experience, she has worked with many senior leaders and executives to influence change.

Session Outline:
Most sponsors feel the change is being handled once they hire you or have some degree of change management support. How do you get them to see the value of change management and their role? In this interactive and engaging workshop, you will receive an in-depth understanding of the critical importance of sponsorship in successful organizational change and how to gain and maintain the interest and support of sponsors so that you can also do your role effectively. As we reference industry Best Practices and client examples, you will become aware of the level of involvement sponsors have in a change in your respective work environments and be in a position to address any gaps in their knowledge and ability. Walk away with the skills you will need to coach, mentor and support the sponsor in change initiatives, as part of your change management toolkit.
